@NashSCE@EruditeTogether@conservmillen you're missing the entire point. they don't hide behind conservative values - when you run on christian values you need to be held to that standard.
@JoanCrenshaw9@sobrien7735@BethMooreLPM i should have said *should be held accountable. what's happening is he is being called out. hopeful for justice. 🙏🏼😩
@sobrien7735@BethMooreLPM trump ran on christian values, when he violates christian values he is held accountable as he should be. why would you hold people with different values to the same standards?
If I were the literal devil I would carefully convince Christians that there is something sinister about empathy, that forgiveness is reserved for those who serve my interests, and that love looks like incurious condescension.
@JohnLBria@conservmillen you're in denial. this is the PRESIDENT, he must be held to a higher standard and this wasn't a mistake. does this fall in line with his character or putting other down? name calling? YES so let's not act like it was a stretch for him to do this. wake up.
@BarbaraRuglio@conservmillen agree except we are called to shine light on darkness and that's what's being done. racism = darkness the epstein files = darkness. he's held to an even stronger standard because he weaponized faith and ran in support of "christian values" which he is not upholding.
“Lord, help everyone.”
“Lord, help.”
“Lord.”
Should life cut us back to only 1 word, that 1 word, that 1 cry, “LORD!” is, in itself, the most powerful confession of faith ever to form on the human tongue. Our faith is not measured in our many words but in 1. Christ is “Lord.”
“How long? Not long!”
We’re not inaugurating Perfection tomorrow, family.
We’re inaugurating Promise.
We’ll have to continue to challenge when needed and change what’s unjust.
But there’s Promise.
There’s language that lifts and listening ears.
Let’s bend with the arc.
