I'm not the biggest fan of the current raise hand UX on Google Meet.
While this is my personal opinion, I always have the impression you're either asking the speaker to talk to the hand, or just implying "Please Stop right there" 😂

The latest issue of @GergelyOrosz newsletter is brilliant!
It compares traditional companies with "SV-like" tech companies. And how each of them manages Software Engineers.
One extra angle I'd add is how challenging it is for traditional companies to adapt to remote work👇
#Blockchain technology has long been taxing for the environment since its inception 🌳
☀️ However, some projects are building for the future. Join us as we discuss 'Making Web3 Green' with @Dovuofficial, @ToucanProtocol, @KlimaDAO, and @Clim8collective.

Today marks a turning point for Tapmydata. We are excited to announce our new brand. Welcome, Tapx @tapxHQ.
- A new brand
- A new mission,
- and, A suite of new products.
We are committed to making web3 a more secure, accessible and rewarding experience for everyone.
@JustAnotherPM When they can tear apart my "marvelous" idea and propose something better to solve the problem I'm focusing on. I've been fortunate to work with amazing devs that give a shit so much that they will question the direction of the product 🤘🏾I wouldn't have it any other way
@JustAnotherPM And that's why I'm available to be part of someone's "getting the first product role" Journey. DM me if you are reading this and looking for a role in product 💪🏾
@JustAnotherPM The thing that helped me with "experience before experience": Started 3 startups, sold one, one flopped, one is still active.
What helped me get the role: Networking networking and networking like crazy.
This is the last week for the @tapmydata brand. 🥺
Next week, we welcome a new brand, new product, and ambitious new mission. 😁🚀❌
We're building on a @Tapmydata that has had 3 years of hard work and commitment, to improving the security and ownership of your data.
there’s no rule that says the only solution you have as a (software) PM is…code. You can solve problems with any tool (code, process, people, tools, etc) at your disposal. Your job is identifying + getting solved the most imp problems
@earik87@GergelyOrosz It might take time to get used to it. But it starts with one person creating the value for the rest of the org to see the value on it.
Lead the way 🤘🏾
@earik87@GergelyOrosz Start documenting one feature spec or one upcoming initiative, share the document and collaborate edits with your team.
Continue with the next one and next one.
Don't ask for people to do it, until people start to share that they benefit from it with you.
A big "aha" moment for me was realizing that there are 3 distinct phases of a career in product. An APM's job is only a small slice of what a senior PM does. And that's again a small slice of what a director does. Success means different things at each phase.
A thread:
@tinashakour @venikunche First you are too young to know enough, then you are a too dangerous hire because you might get pregnant, and then you are too old to be up to date. We can’t win.
