@trishaashley Luckily I put mine out last night as I burned the midnight oil because I needed to finish the book of lost stories. Have to say I really enjoyed it-darker than the usual trips into Trishaworld but very enjoyable and a lovely invite of how authors craft their tales. 📚📚10/10
@rumyers@MrNickKnowles That is great advice thank you. I had knee surgery just before Christmas and stairs on crutches is no fun.
Nick I wish you a good recovery
Not sure why @Rylan is randomly appearing on road signs in Leicestershire. I spotted him and Bruce while out litterpicking with @SLLWombles this morning
Wow! Look at this! Children in Year 6 have had their work about the History of South Wigston published by the University of Leicester's History department on their website! https://t.co/5xYINdoItt
Sharing a lovely fb post about me, a fellow litterpicker was approached by sone of the children from ‘my’ school @Fairfieldcps such a lovely polite group children and it make me proud that our behaviour outside school can make such a positive effect on the children
Look at these wonderful pieces of work! Year 6 have just finished studying the history of South Wigston from 1883 to 1914 and were asked to present their understanding so they could showcase how well they've done. Absolutely fantastic effort from all of the children. Very proud.
Went for a walk up the #BreconBeacons (as you do) I didn’t start litterpicking till back in view of the carpark as no bag. Naively I thought people would respect a beautiful area like that but no. I got back with a selection of litter-mostly poo bags🏴🗻🚯
