watching what the top farmers posted yesterday taught me more.

one mystery wallet did $2.5b alone, that's 12.5% of all weekly volume from a single address. @pinkkbuny doubled volume and got 40% fewer points. @Cupifi said same thing, ratio keeps dropping. more volume chasing the same pool

so who actually farmed efficiently?

sorted by pts per $1m, not raw points:
@givenoxbt : 114 pts on $2.2m = ~52 per $1m. pair trading 50/50 crypto + tradfi, hitting new listings like USFNG, DXI, GLW. from what i can tell the pair trade counts OI on both legs

@RyanLeeCrypto : 32 per $1m on only $213k volume. 88% hold time. var rewards sticky positions, high OI-to-vol = bonus. held RWA perps basically the whole week

@Purplecheff : 350 pts on $12.5m = 28 per $1m. uk oil swaps (ukoilp) was the big winner, $4.3m volume, +$1.5k pnl. also cocoap, pumpfun, hype

@Brokelays : 244 pts on ~$10.85m = 22.5 per $1m. scalped newly listed low-OI swaps: copp, cna50s, gasolp, cocoap. avoided vxi, "spreads too high to scalp." i personally experienced this, an instant $15 loss on a $5k position with a 0.2% sl.

then the bottom tier on raw pts. me, @vish_hl , @Zeus00nn , @rajsh7894, all 4-5 pts on $250- 450k. me on US500 swaps + lighter hedge, 8h holds. same wall for everybody: deep markets where whales play, no oi boost, churned positions = stickiness penalty

what i'm changing for week 44:

drop US500 swaps. $305m daily volume / $80m OI, way too deep. my $300k is 0.37% of OI so the thin-market boost never kicks in

i'd scale what worked. xpt was my best at 58 pts per $1m and i barely sized it. boba had $8k volume (3% of my book) on $834 OI, the thinnest market i touched. needs way more, but not 30%, at that OI i'd be the whole market lol

might just add cocoap. the problem is a good hedge venue, brokelays and purple both farmed it. ~$482k OI, mid-tier boost.

hold longer than 8h. ryan proved 88% hold = 2x efficiency, since he was busy at the kbw event. even steve_stonks said weekends killed him on stock spreads. i just got an alert on my spread bot that the gap between xau and xaut is now at $12. hasn't gotten to that level in weeks.

skip the trap pairs. vxi looks good on paper but spreads eat you. btc/eth/us500s/us100s are crumbs. openai/tsla on weekends = closed market = wide spreads

napkin math: $200k of my $300k into boba + xpt + cocoap with 24h holds is prolly ~9 pts instead of 4.8. same capital, different pairs. still tier 3 but trending right

I believe the dilution is just getting started as whales aren't going anywhere, and with TGE around the corner ~6-8 weeks, the pool gets more competitive.
