JUSTICE FOR KUKI-ZO CIVILIANS — END THE CYCLE OF VIOLENCE
The reported killing of Kimjalhai Singson, a recent nursing graduate, and Pi Phalneichong Sitlhou at Leisangphai Village, Tamenglong, is a grave and heartbreaking attack on innocent civilian women.
The Kuki-Zo community demands a swift, independent and impartial investigation into the alleged involvement of NSCN-IM and ZUF-K. Any allegation of involvement by armed groups must be established through credible evidence and due process, and anyone found responsible must be held accountable under the law.
There are also serious allegations and concerns regarding the activities of armed elements operating from across the Myanmar border, including references to the Shan National Army and Myanmar military/junta forces. These claims must likewise be independently investigated rather than allowed to remain unanswered.
At the same time, allegations concerning the United Naga Council, Senapati District student bodies, JTM, NPO, ANSAM, Tangkhul civil-society organisations, and individual political leaders—including Losii Dikho and the Deputy Chief Minister—must not be treated as established facts without evidence. If there is evidence of coordination, support, incitement, obstruction, or political protection connected to attacks on civilians, competent investigating agencies must examine it and establish individual responsibility.
THE GOVERNMENT MUST ANSWER
How many more innocent Kuki-Zo civilians must die before effective preventive security measures are put in place?
How long will vulnerable villages remain exposed to armed attacks?
Why are repeated allegations of civilian killings not being followed by transparent investigations and visible accountability?
The Government of India, Manipur Government, NIA, CBI and security agencies must act within the law to protect civilians, secure vulnerable areas, preserve evidence and bring every person responsible for violence to justice.
Do not turn this tragedy into another cycle of communal hatred. Justice must target the perpetrators—not an entire community.
Condolences are not enough. Security is needed. Investigation is needed. Accountability is needed. Justice is needed.
Protect civilians. Investigate every killing. Expose the truth. Hold the perpetrators accountable.

Dear friends, we have decided to organise a half-day social work programme at MCD Christian Cemetery, Sector 24, Dwarka. Those who would like to join and participate are kindly requested to share their name and mobile number. Let us come together.
MBC, WHERE IS YOUR CHRISTIAN WITNESS?
Ms. Tina Sitlhou Eugene, daughter of the late Rev. Dr. Vumthang Sitlhou, former General Secretary of the Manipur Baptist Convention who was brutally murdered on May 13 by Tangkhul NSCN-IM and their stooges ZUF-Kamson expresses profound grief and disappointment over the response of the Manipur Baptist Convention.
She observes that as a Christian institution, the MBC is expected to be at the forefront of advocating peace, reconciliation, truth, and justice for all victims without distinction. However, she notes with concern that the MBC has been vocal in seeking justice for six Naga individuals while failing to demonstrate similar urgency in pursuing peace and justice for other victims, including her late father.
She further questions whether Christian leadership has become selective in nature, emphasizing that justice should not be determined on the basis of ethnicity. She reiterates that Christianity does not endorse partiality, as Christ did not sacrifice Himself for a single tribe, nor did He command love to be confined to one's own community alone.

What a joy it was to worship on Sunday with both churches that have shaped who I am today. I had the privilege of pastoring Kuki Worship Service Delhi for 14 years, and now I have been serving with The Journey Church for 11 years and counting.
I am deeply grateful to God 🙏
