Just so delighted and totally bowled over to say that The Lost Paths has been longlisted for the Wainwright Prize for Nature Writing.
🍃🌳😊🥲
Thank you, @wainwrightprize and everyone at @MichaelJBooks and @PFDAgents
After a day of glorious green walking, I'm now having a can of beer created in honour of Ethel Ethel Haythornthwaite - environmentalist, campaigner, and countryside protector.

Thank you, @DrAFlint, for the beer!
On the 18th of April, I'll be at the Think Human festival at Oxford Brookes. I'll be talking about the history of our paths, the fight to reclaim them, and my book, The Lost Paths.
And there is a walk beforehand!
Would love to see you there. Tickets here:

The @TfL Green Link Walk had launched today! This walk has everything: marshes and forest, squares, parks and canals. We so pleased see the walk launched after years working with partners to create it. #fingerpostfriday
Some exciting news today.
London has a brand new walking route. Inner London Ramblers have been instrumental in advocating for more leisure routes through the city and in mapping the Green Link Walk. 👏💚👟
I'm looking forward to walking it soon, from Epping Forest to Peckham!
It's weird (and wonderful!) to be saying this, but here it is....I've written a book, and it's coming out in April.
The Lost Paths, published by Penguin Michael Joseph, is an exploration and celebration of our ancient path network and a call to reclaim what has been lost.
Today I've had such an interesting visit to @ImperialMed's Margaret Turner Warwick centre, learnt about their leading work on fibrotic disease from some of the experts @IPFdoc before unveiling a plaque celebrating #raynefoundation's support: https://t.co/nlYftpMaAU
