Some BLOs said they signed under pressure, others refused or tried to reach supervisors. The men allegedly called someone posing as the ERO to tell the BLOs to sign. The ERO said his name had been used without his authorisation and that he gave no such instruction. When some of the objectors whose details were on the forms were contacted, they confirmed that the names and phone numbers were theirs, but said they had not filled out the applications against anyone.
