When my mom passed, I was alone at home because my husband wasn’t in town then.

I was so emotionally disorganized while traveling that I forgot my apartment key at home.

So I called the lady that made my hair because she lived close to me and asked her to help lock up the house and keep the key.

I came back 3 weeks later and this woman had practically finished my foodstuffs 😭

The craziest part was how casually she said:

“When you come you buy rice, garri and Indomie because I chop from the ones you left... Na only your spaghetti I too touch. I don chop the yam wey dey house.” 😭

I just collected my key and stopped talking to her after that.

Maybe it sounds petty, but that behavior irritated me deeply.
