🚨26-year-old Iyasha Chapman allegedly opened fire on two tow truck workers who were repossessing her Lincoln MKZ outside her home in Memphis around 4 a.m. on Wednesday.

The two men had already loaded the vehicle onto their tow truck and told Chapman she could remove her personal belongings. She went back inside her house while the workers continued securing the car.

Few minutes later, Chapman came back outside carrying a purse and asked to get back into the vehicle. When the workers told her she could not re-enter the car, police say she became angry and allegedly threatened them, saying, “I’m going to kill you.”

Investigators say Chapman then pulled what appeared to be a handgun and fired about two rounds toward the tow truck workers. The men quickly jumped into their truck and drove away from the scene.

As they were leaving, one of the workers realized he had been shot and was bleeding. He was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive after suffering non-critical injuries.

Police later detained Chapman and charged her with two counts of aggravated assault.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, June 25.
