Level 114 is officially becoming a game publisher!
We are excited to announce that Level 114 is officially expanding beyond Minecraft servers!
In a strategic partnership with Popu Games Studio @PopuGames_SARL, we’re becoming the publisher of their first MMORPG — The Cursed Land.
🎮 About The Cursed Land
The Cursed Land is a cross-platform MMORPG where Windows, iOS, and Android players share the same immersive world.
Team up or clash in PvE and PvP battles, upgrade your gear, and experience an optional Web3 layer that lets you equip NFT items and trade in-game goods for crypto within a player-driven economy.
With 100K+ combined downloads on Google Play and the App Store and 3,500+ players already onboarded into the MultiversX ecosystem, The Cursed Land demonstrates how Web3 can be seamlessly integrated into traditional gaming. Importantly, players can choose to enjoy the full experience with or without blockchain features.
🧩 Level 114’s Role
The game is still in development, and that’s where we step in. Level 114 is here to help complete the process, publish the game, and share its long-term success.
This partnership also marks a historic milestone:
Level 114 becomes the first Bittensor subnet to launch a sub-subnet, splitting emissions into two distinct tasks.
💠 Emission Split:
25% — The Cursed Land (TCL)
75% — Minecraft miners
Validators will assign weight to TCL based on a dedicated set of performance metrics:
- Active online players
- Average play time
- Daily unique logins
- Monthly new users
A portion of the game’s revenue will be shared with Level 114, establishing our first income stream, directly used for Alpha token buybacks from the market.

🟩 MINECRAFT SHOP & WEIGHT SYSTEM UPGRADE
We are introducing the Level 114 Minecraft Shop across all active servers: https://t.co/NwThTVDxdn
▫️ When a player purchases Credits from the shop, that amount is automatically credited on every active server at the moment of the purchase.
▫️ Every server in the network benefits equally from ecosystem-wide player transactions.
🟩 How Credits Can Be Spent
▫️ It’s entirely up to each server owner how Credits are used on their server.
▫️ Owners can define their own use-cases — ranks, boosts, cosmetics, passes, utilities — total flexibility remains in your hands.
🟩 Weight System Update
We’re replacing the old uptime-based weight with a new player power model:
▫️ Weight is now determined by player power, based on the amount of Credits purchased by that player in the last 7 days.
▫️ This check runs every 5 minutes.
▫️ If a player is active on multiple servers, their power is split equally between them.
This change ensures the network’s scoring reflects real player activity and value generation, not just uptime.
🟩 Summary
▫️ Credits now sync across all servers instantly at purchase
▫️ Weight is now player-power-based, checked every 5 minutes
▫️ New economy plugin to be finalized soon
▫️ CraftingStore + Level 114 plugin remains mandatory
🟩 Minecraft Competition — #LookingForBuilders
Calling all Minecraft fans and AI builders — this one’s for you!
We wanted to test a small competition — maybe some of our miners are also Minecraft players or AI builders who want to test their creative skills!
The competition is simple: Join any public server, build a creative $TAO/#Bittensor-themed structure or world, and win the vote weight competition from our holders.
🟩 @TAOTemplar just launched https://t.co/uHlZfK4nXj – an aggregation of exclusive data for #Bittensor alpha investment.
Guess what, our subnet is looking very good on this platform:
✅ 'Liq price' over 57% higher than the trading price!!!
✅ no red flags
✅ in the green with 'Avg Lines' on Github
✅ neutral on 'Owner Deposit'
✅ green on number of miners

🟩 The Cursed Land
We are happy to announce that the integration with #Bittensor has moved a little closer!
Players from Web2, iOS/Android and PC can now earn Alpha and claim it directly in-game. This brings our vision of soft onboarding one step closer, as we aim to create an easy onboarding experience for everyone new to Bittensor. Players can now earn points from daily activities and get a chance to win a 20 #SN114 Alpha daily reward.
We have also integrated real-time metrics on our website, so everyone can follow the current leaderboard and view past winners.

SN 114 was the first subnet to have multiple subnet mechanisms.
if you hit their metagraph page at taostats, you can see there are 2 mechanisms, and rewards are split 75:25

This week marked the first subnet to launch subnet mechanisms.
(you may have heard of sub subnets? They are subnet mechanisms now.)
Let's see how they work in action! 🧵
Earlier this week, we shared the news about our partnership with PopuGames Studio.
You can now read more about our collaboration in Digital Journal:

Level 114 is the first subnet in the Bittensor network to enable the new sub-subnet feature.
The feature was enabled to support two distinct workload tracks within the subnet, allowing emissions to be partitioned across separate task classes and enabling cleaner, more deterministic operational management.
This activation will demonstrate the feature’s practical applicability in a production setting. It represents a modest but meaningful advancement for the network and an incremental step in the evolution of infrastructure within the Bittensor ecosystem. $TAO
We understand there are questions and feelings around Subnet 114’s history. We’ll publish a detailed update of our interactions with the prior slot owners. Our hope is that this context helps the community see our intentions clearly: we’re new, we’re listening and we’re committed to bring positive value to the ecosystem.
🚀The Cursed Land joins the Bittensor ecosystem alongside @level_114
🤝We’re excited to announce a strategic partnership with Level 114, the first gaming-focused subnet on Bittensor #SN114.
📄Under this agreement, Level 114 becomes the publisher for The Cursed Land (TCL).

✅ Level 114 Is Live
Our subnet code is up and running, actively validated by several validators, including OpenTensor Foundation, Rizzo, Yuma, RoundaTable21, tao․bot, and tao5. $TAO
Safello, through its innovation arm Safello Labs, has developed https://t.co/uF9P17BbB0, a all-in-one dashboard and rating system for the #Bittensor ecosystem.
This platform provides real-time analytics, scores, prices, and market data to evaluate and track subnet performance, emissions, and rankings, making it easier for users to navigate decentralized AI networks.
Our subnet, #Level114, is the first to receive the #Verified checkmark on the platform, reflecting our ongoing commitment to the Bittensor ecosystem.
All details about our subnet are up-to-date and available on our dedicated page:
