@TvsMarkJohnson @thingy665 @Hood_Map_Man @Claire_V0ltaire@AmerZahr@DanNaturman you’re telling such a random, made-up history
since 19th cent, jews started exercising self-determination
many yearned for eretz yisrael
they did not just passively get deposited in palestine region
+ jews from morocco to tehran were also fundraising / organizing for zionism
@PierreJoseph292 @PdRaffle @HenMazzig if you're going to say "not really true that though" then why share a press release that does not refute anything i stated ... sounds like you're moving slowly through the realization process that there are facts which conflict with your preexisting assumptions
y'all why is @Snapchat so bad
the login system is a disaster, there is horrible spam / spammy content, and my account gets temporarily locked all the time; then i get permanently locked all of a sudden? i was thinking maybe i can network there but yikes.
@PierreJoseph292 @PdRaffle @HenMazzig palestinians own more real estate in eretz yisrael / palestine region than at any time in history, so it's not exactly ruthless. aside from a few disputed properties, 'confiscation' is in fact not that, but rather just redistricting which town administers which suburbs.
@PierreJoseph292 @PdRaffle @HenMazzig there is really no easy political solution for either. four entities have competing territorial claims over the areas claimed in 1967, and until the 1980s it was up to six. plus, the state of palestine outlaws judaism, so just applying its sovereignty is not a direct solution.
@PierreJoseph292 @PdRaffle @HenMazzig is referring to jews in islamic lands as a minority some kind of "gotcha" ... like by this logic, native americans have no right to self-determination, kurds have no right to self-determination, just because it'll disrupt continuity of arab imperialism and the arab majority
@lanaukiyo not only the commonalities that exist between how kurds and jews navigate the world, but also the commonalities that exist in how the broader world pretends kurds and jews are uniquely evil, or fundamentally in opposition to a healthy society existing
@thingy665 @TvsMarkJohnson @Hood_Map_Man @Claire_V0ltaire@AmerZahr@DanNaturman iraqi, syrian, yemeni, and other govs that invaded, along with israel, should together resolve the conflict's non-jewish and jewish refugee rights
about an equal number of jews and arabs were displaced, and over half-dozen different forces were in eretz yisrael/palestine region
@thingy665 @TvsMarkJohnson @Hood_Map_Man @Claire_V0ltaire@AmerZahr@DanNaturman you kept on asking about artifacts
tbh it is not something i focus on
big difference between palestinians possessing real estate (palestinians in eretz yisrael/palestine region own more real estate than ever) ... versus territorial rule by an islamic state that outlaws judaism
@dankyboi_clay @take5fatass @borgposting people go wild with their antisemitism, it is more open now and so it's helpful to understand how it's being expressed
@thingy665 @TvsMarkJohnson @Hood_Map_Man @Claire_V0ltaire@AmerZahr@DanNaturman that is not how territorial control works for any group anywhere in the world
archaeology can express an indigenous group's sense of peoplehood and continuity but artifacts don't feel, nor do they fight for self-determination
