@ChrisFerdinandi Pretty great so far! Itโs really more retrofitting my office to be able to quickly record demos and ideas, but Iโm having tons of fun. Makes for a really great hobby thatโs not related to web development ๐.
I really look forward to reading @ChrisFerdinandi 's daily email. Go subscribe here: https://t.co/LILTlDiITu I just started building a small home music studio, so today's article is doubly relevant to me! ๐ https://t.co/DrHSezwdxx
@WebC_omponents@eleven_ty Awesome, thank you for the reply! I wasnโt even thinking about the colon/dynamic attribute ๐. Iโll dig into that next. Iโm a super sloppy note taker so I may have got some stuff mixed up. Iโll go back and confirm. Thanks for the tips!
I got a chance to tinker around with the @eleven_ty WebC plugin yesterday. There's a ton more to dig into, but I decided to write up my notes as a post. 11ty is already great and WebC feels like a huge upgrade. ๐ https://t.co/wvxIDXRsO8
@brob For small stuff the GitHub API doesnโt require authentication which is great! We use the 11ty cache assets plugin to get the data and create the changelog on our site at build time based on PRs we label with the current version number. https://t.co/ayIjWvPyRK
Gave my old bass a makeover today (after and before). I bought this guitar in 1997 with a few paychecks from first real job at Taco Bell in high school. I put a lot of miles on this thing in basements/garages/VFWs/coffee shops/bars over the years. It stiโฆ https://t.co/b7Jl3YCHBr
Started watching @thebearfx tonight and I love it so much. Chicago, Italian beefโ two of my favorite things. This showโs got it all! https://t.co/BkqNMplWce
Man, I canโt sleep and Iโve been doing a real deep dive on google images. Look at this photo of Ric Flair from the 80s! This was the future of ultimate fighting bros we deserved. Whooo! https://t.co/2VE6U1mbLF
@ChrisFerdinandi That totally makes sense. Especially if youโre the only one working on the site. We have a handful of folks contributing, and just the other day ran into a case where one of us needed to downgrade a Hugo version, which is not straightforward at all ๐. Hugo is pretty great though
@ChrisFerdinandi Iโve got a production site running in each (11ty and Hugo) right now and I think youโre hitting the nail on the head. But, for me the advantage 11ty has is that itโs all node.js so working on the site is just one `npm install` instead of messing with homebrew or whatever for Hugo
I finally got around to creating a Letterboxd account. I like a lot of cheesy, basic stuff and I've never really dove deep into film as an art form, but I'd like to start. I'd love to start following some folks. Send me links to your profiles, please! https://t.co/qwIa0ksWJQ
Pretty sure the digital sign at the strip mall down the road from me has been hacked by someone with a wicked dad joke game. โYoung Amish farmers pay for new bridles with theirโฆBit Coin!โ https://t.co/pvJRHLfe5E
