@NizMhani@zachsagefox Speaking as an Indigenous Okinawan, your remark is orientalist, hateful, and reeks of the "noble savage" stereotype. I have never once heard a single person in my family or beyond speak this way.
A glimpse into last night’s San Francisco Freedom Seder—what an unforgettable evening! We're deeply grateful to the 450+ guests who joined us in celebration. Can’t wait to continue the spirit this weekend at the Silicon Valley Freedom Seder. Shabbat Shalom!

@dostoevskybb The thing about his call for violence against Jewish people is it probably is part of a shift in hate speech/actions happening in America.
Already in the US pretty much every single synagogue has armed security just so people can pray with some peace of mind
This worsens it.
@RuwaydaMustafah For the most part, I never had a chance to grieve my own personal tragedy in the Kurdistan Region — targeted for my religion, my home stripped away, kept in detention, and ultimately deported— because I was just glad to be alive, sure it was a sign of something much worse coming
@richimedhurst There are no Israeli bases in the Kurdistan Region. The IRGC just uses the label "Zionist" as a scapegoat any time it wants to justify violence, because many people are totally convinced about Jewish conspiracy lurking behind every corner.
@LanaSerene I vaguely remember Dostoevsky being one of the first words I read in Kurdish… I would go to bazaar and study the words on the books in order to practice reading the letters, and there was always a lot of Dostoevsky. His work seems to resonate — or at least sell — v well 😅
