Growing on Substack is easy. Here’s what you need to know:
- Dial in your target audience
- Have 1 mission
- Post Notes for reach (one-liners perform best)
- Post articles for authority & depth of knowledge (give everything away)
- Each article MUST have a killer headline, subhead and banner image combo
@VaibhavCreates I totally get that feeling. You want to pick the right vehicle for success but you have no idea which one works the fastest. It all comes down to just that: having a short-term mindset and desiring big outcomes with as little time commitment as possible
Your anxiety stems from doubt.
You think you have very little time to figure out how you're going to "make it", so every opportunity suddenly becomes important to you. You end up placing the value of these opportunities above your own, preventing you from possessing the confidence required to win.
I analyzed why Hormozi’s Business Roadmap lead magnet is so compelling (just copy his framework):
- Offers problem-solution clarity
- Takes seconds to use
- Applies to every skill level of your audience
- Positions Hormozi's service as the obvious next step
@bigtidobar I like the word "deserve." Most people don't believe they deserve success or a better future. They think they have to become a better person to be qualified enough to deserve it. You have to make that decision right now before you're ready
@raw_ideass Exactly. Don't get too in your head and think about the future. Fear of the future can cause you to do all the actions that contradict your goal
The quote that permanently rewired my 14 year old brain to think 4-5 years ahead of my age:
"Do the thing you fear and the death of fear is certain"
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
@HussainIbarra 5 is underrated for sure. It's also what makes entrepreneurship so difficult at times because most people won't understand your vision. You'll have to make big decisions on your own even if you'd like to have an outsider perspective
@raw_ideass AI can help you quickly learn any skill you want. All you have to do is figure out which skills you have to learn in order to accomplish the mission you set for yourself
@raw_ideass I forgot who said this, or maybe it was a post I briefly read, but pick a "major". The one skill you're the best at. Then stack on the "minors". Additional skills that support the main one. Together they form a unique combination of value only you can provide
Highly recommend you remember the 3-C's of solopreneurship:
1) Content
2) Conversations
3) Conversion
I give you permission to quit if you focus on these 3 levers for 1 month and see zero results.
