@hasanthehun The MAGA people who respond “yes” are never able to provide any examples of how their lives are genuinely emotionally or financially better under this admin. All they can ever talk about is how other people’s lives being worse somehow makes their life better (ICE, Trans rights..)
Many of the White House candidates for high level positions in the Federal government come across as badly qualified for the jobs they are seeking.
If they all happened to be Black, I wonder if they’d instead be rejected as incompetent DEI hires?
@RileyElsecaller All good. My entire life everyone has bragged about my intelligence until I question a take they have. Then they have immediately question my intelligence.
@dustieboots@JoshDavis1465 @GremlinSyrup @PERFECTMVCHINE@JoeBiden I’d just like somebody in office who can pass legislation based on objective truths and evidence; right wing or left wing it doesn’t matter. Anybody who posits their beliefs over the truth should not be passing policy on those beliefs.
Starset having the balls to post a promo criticizing the absolute worst about America on the 4th of July while using artist commissioned AI-reminiscent art to show just how far the culture has devolved is just so so genius and I'm so happy I got to see them back in April
From when they were founded...
It would take @Mattel six years to introduce a spacefaring female doll — Astronaut Barbie in 1965.
It would take @NASA twenty-five years to achieve the same feat with a spacefaring female human — launching Sally Ride in 1983.
In @BarbieTheMovie, the Moon's orientation places Barbie World between 20 & 40 deg North Latitude on Earth. Palm trees further constrain latitude between 20 & 30 deg. The Sun & Moon rose & set over the ocean. If it’s in the US, Barbie World lands somewhere in the Florida Keys.
Sometimes I wonder whether alien space vessels are inherently fuzzy & out-of-focus (that would be terrifying). And whether they love the @USNavy (that would be charming).
If so, it would explain a lot.
JWST recently detected complex organic molecules, similar to smoke or smog, in a galaxy 12 billion light-years away.
This is a big discovery! It's the farthest we've ever detected organic molecules, suggesting complex chemistry is much older than we originally thought.
Can’t blame Earth’s rotation for that missed field goal by the Kansas City @Chiefs.
Coriolis forces in the northern hemisphere will shift airborne projectiles only to the right, and the ball boinged off the left upright -- for the miss.
