My wife and I were blessed with our daughter one month ago.
And naturally I started an apparel brand for her called “Love, Dad”.
I want to document my journey here, so follow along to see behind the scenes!
@KodyNordquist Volume works super well on organic social, but there has to be a system to improve it over time. So many brands are sitting at 200-500 views per video and posting a TON, but none of those will make it to the ad account.
"Organic reach is dead for small brands."
Then how did we get Swaddelini 101M organic views in the last 90 days?
People have said organic social is dead for years.
But that's because they are playing by the old rules.
The algorithm used to ration your reach by how much you posted.
Post on a schedule so your audience knows when to expect you.
Don't post too much or your follower engagement will go down.
That doesn't matter in 2026.
The algorithm rewards good content that gets attention.
Every video gets its own shot at virality.
So we started posting 4-6 times a day.
We track the hook rate and shares on every post.
The winners tell us what to make more of, and we cut the rest.
The result is 3-4 viral posts a week, 1-2 breakout videos a month, and 101M views in a quarter on Instagram alone.
And the second a winner breaks through, we put it into our ad account and it spends profitably from day 1.
2026 finally feels like a year where opportunity abounds.
Much preferred to 2025 where the question to answer was “how do we avoid going out of business?”
@andrewjfaris Every ecom brand I work with is killing it right now, and I largely credit it to the mistakes we learned from last year that we are righting now
@CJSlattery I feel like this is with most businesses. Pick the hard fight you want because none of them are “easy”.
Love the perspective though from someone who is going all-in this year!
@CJSlattery I was having a conversation with someone about this last month and used your graph to explain it. So that’s for helping out with these conversations!
