When Abbey Clancy was away on holiday with Peter Crouch, one of her friends had bought her a bikini and Abbey decided to send her a quick photo wearing it.

She took the picture, opened WhatsApp and started typing the name of the friend she wanted to send it to.

“You know how you just type in the first two letters of a name.”

There was only one problem.

“I couldn’t see in the sun.”

Abbey pressed send without properly checking which chat she had opened.

The picture did not go to her friend.

It went into one of Crouch’s golf WhatsApp groups, with around 200 golfers in it.

Abbey realised what she had done.

“I was absolutely mortified!”

By the time Crouch realised what had happened, the damage was already done.

“My phone was going mental.”

He grabbed his phone and deleted the photo from the group, hoping he had managed to get rid of it quickly enough.

Almost immediately, the replies started coming back.

“Don’t worry, we’ve got the screenshots.”

One of the golfers had already taken things a little further.

“I’ve laminated it and put it on my bedroom wall.”
