England. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory since 1966.
Go ahead first, sit in our third and defend against an onslaught of attacks and inevitably concede. That type of play then carries on and the same thing happens. Disappointing but predictable.
@neilmroberts Overly complex, way too many technology concepts, poor implementations, garbage documentation that's so obtuse it's pointless to read, forces you to use a mobile phone for basic actions. I could probably go on. Just crap crap crap.
I had to start shutting down processes and services to identify what was causing it. The new Light Switch feature in PowerToys "helpfully" enabled by default was the culprit. Already been raised as a bug but 😡
Whoever decided that "Light Switch" should be enabled by default in the new version of PowerToys needs a slap. I started my PC and everything is in Light Mode. I go to Personalise, reset it to Dark mode and a few seconds later...Light Mode again.
8 year old recently neutered Musket has come to us due to a change in his family’s circumstances. He has been in the same home since he was a puppy and so is understandably very bewildered.
He is a friendly and affectionate boy when he gets to know you and is comfortable. He walks nicely on his lead and doesn’t react to anything out and about. He has walked through fields of sheep while with us and not batted an eyelid, so a very easy boy to take out on adventures. He is very well behaved in pubs and cafes and will sit nice and calmly.
Musket is cat friendly but wary of small children (he can sometimes bark at them) so he will only be re-homed with children over 14.
He is happy to play with other dogs but will need to be the only dog in the home. He spent some time in a lovely foster home but unfortunately got very possessive over a chew.
Musket will take a while to settle in a new home, which is understandable given the fact he has only known one family in his lifetime. A slow and patient approach will be rewarded as you see Musket settle and show you the fabulous boy he is.
He is clean in the house and will ask to go outside to the toilet. He also travels very well in the car.
Don’t be fooled by Musket’s age, he neither looks nor acts his age – he loves a really good long walk.

Hi I'm Kensi, a 7-month-old Dobermann pup with a heart full of zoomies. I'm all about puppy energy - excited, always ready to play fetch or tug-of-war, but I haven't quite mastered the art of personal space yet. I might accidentally bowl you over in my enthusiasm.
I'm a smart cookie too—I already know my basic commands like sit, stay, and come (most of the time, anyway). But I'm still growing up, so I need a forever home where you'll keep building on that with some fun training sessions, clear boundaries, and a solid routine.
In my last place, I got a bit bored and turned into a chew monster on stuff I shouldn't have. But keep me busy with adventures, walks, and brain games, and I'll ditch those bad habits.
I'll blossom into the perfect sidekick with a little structure. When it comes to other critters, I'm chill around horses and cows. But cats get my chase instincts fired up, so I'd probably do best in a cat-free zone while I'm still in my giddy phase.
Out on walks, I start off like a rocket, but once I burn off that initial burst, I settle right in and stroll like a pro. I even walked out with my kennel buddy without any fuss, though I couldn't resist trying to start a playdate now and then. Who can blame me?
Overall, I'm a bundle of joy who'll keep you laughing all day long. I've got a teenage whine when I'm in a kennel, and I might plot a sneaky escape or two, but with your love and patience, I'll be the loyal, loving companion you've been dreaming of.
Hi, I’m Remi, a sweet 2-year-old girl who’s ready to find my perfect forever home. I’ve been through a bit, so I’m taking my time coming out of my shell, but with encouragement and reassurance, I’m starting to relax and show my true colors.
New things might spook me at first, but I bounce back quickly—I’m tougher than I look! What makes me happiest? Being right by your side! I love stretching out at your feet or curling up next to you for some quiet company. I already know my basic commands, and oh boy, do I get excited about agility equipment—especially if there’s a yummy treat involved.
Out on walks, I might let out a little bark if something catches me off guard, but I settle right down and trot along nicely with other dogs. I’ve met cattle, horses, and cats without any fuss, though I do get curious if something comes right at me. Overall, I’m a curious explorer who’s learning to trust the world. I just need someone patient to help build my confidence—time and kindness are my best friends.
No little kids for me, please; I’d do best with dog-savvy folks 12 and up. I’ve always been a solo act, but I could probably share my space with a chill male dog. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to shower with love and watch blossom, that’s me!
Atlas is a charming 19-month-old rescue dog looking for a loving forever home. He originally lived with both his parents, but as he grew, he started to clash with his dad. This sweet boy thrives in the company of female dogs, whose presence helps boost his confidence as he discovers the joys of the big wide world. Atlas hasn’t had much exposure to busy environments, having spent much of his time in a crate, so he’s looking for a patient family to gently introduce him to new adventures.
When Atlas first arrived with us, he was shy and would bark at new faces. But in just a few weeks, he’s blossomed into a tail-wagging, people-loving pup who greets everyone with enthusiasm! He adores snuggling on the sofa and soaking up affection from his favorite humans.
Atlas would thrive with a confident female dog to show him the ropes. He’s comfortable around children aged 10 and up, making him a great fit for families. Cats aren’t his thing—he’s shown a tendency to chase them, so a cat-free home is best.
If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this lovable boy, Atlas is eager to become your loyal companion. Visit our website to complete an application form.
If there was any doubt about with whom Trump is aligning himself, the pause of military aid and now intelligence sharing with Ukraine hammers the final nail into the coffin of doubt.
Trump is a sick bastard and is clearly working for Russia. Absolute scumbag.
"Trump officials fume at Zelenskyy for disregarding advice before meeting"
That advice: "Sign the mineral deal without any security guarantees. We'll talk about them later."
So Zelenskyy absolutely did the right thing and walked away. Trump is upset because Zelensky is no fool.
Unqualified loyalists, conspiracy theorists and borderline sociopaths running important departments. Withdrawn from WHO, UNHCR, veiled threats of war with Mexico. Tell me, who does that sound like?
A month into Trump's 2nd term and the US admin is calling to withdraw from the UN and NATO, trade tariffs among allies. Cancelling of US aid to Ukraine and the US going against a UN vote on whether Russia was the aggressor. Tell me, who does Donald Trump align with again?
@ZelenskyyUa@Keir_Starmer I support you, Ukraine and Ukrainians, as I believe so does the VAST majority in the UK. That hug from Starmer demonstrates how committed I believe we are. It was painful to have watched that grotesque display of absolute betrayal yesterday. Slava Ukraine.
@FlipOffFelix Trump doesn't have the mental faculties to offer any advice. He knows Ukraine is in a bad position and is trying to exploit it for the benefit of the United States. Like he says, "America 1st". What's apparently unsaid in that statement is "Fuck everyone else, including allies."
I am so sorry that @ZelenskyyUa has to deal with that absolute low life. If it wasn't clear that Trump intended to sell out Ukraine before, it is now. Americans that voted for Trump: if this is what you want America to be, you have lost your moral compass.
@matvelloso@openrouter Genuine feedback here because I use Gemini myself but, if I'm being completely honest, I consider its output answering a fairly straightforward question to be quite verbose, which isn't particularly efficient and skews this type of ranking.
