Nolan Wells’ mother posted this on her Facebook, stating this was sent to her home with no return address. (Photo on left)
“Whoever sent this to my home, may the good Lord have mercy on your soul. Bold enough to send this crap but not bold enough to list your return address. This is America, where a grieving mother and father have to deal with this type of behavior because we asked a simple question of what happened to our son and accepted all the help we could get to find answers. Please go touch some grass.”
Just a few Facebook posts before she posted this, she shared a post that compared Nolan’s death to the death of Aubreigh Wyatt, a white girl, also from Ocean Springs, who took her own life due to being relentlessly bullied. Christine, Nolan’s mother, pushed this extremely inaccurate post that tried to push the narrative that there was no pushback in Aubreigh’s case. It was heavily implied that this was due to the color of her skin: “They certainly had no problem with it when another grieving parent was white in a high-profile case.”
A little research would have done them some good. Aubreigh was heavily criticized online on multiple platforms. Her mother was called “fake” and was told she was raising money for her own gain and was using her child’s death. Many didn’t believe her story lined up. Eventually this even led to a civil legal battle.
Hatred towards white people doesn’t go away just because you ignore it or write a viral post claiming it never happened. You are a victim because you lost a child, not because you’re black or white. Both parents lost a child. Both raised funds. Both were criticized.
You should never compare one tragedy to another to push your racial narrative. It’s disgusting to do to the other family, and it truly shows right where your heart is.
So, while I don’t condone sending anything to a family’s home to make your point, you’re quite literally bringing SO much of this criticism on yourself.
Grieve your child. Put the imaginary racial narrative away. We’re all tired of it.
@ClayTravis yea because white people were slave owners white people didnt get beat and whipped like black people did black people also didnt own white people and whip and beat them
