What a past few days, remember to back up your work kids. My 1TB SSD decided to die this weekend and thankfully my game was on a different SSD. Now I’m back in commission and working on the new pet system!

So I’m thinking tomorrow I start adding extra AI, making a boss fight and doing some more polish like camera shakes and time slows for when you kill the boss. I think it’s gonna start bringing everything together

So I got the mana working and actually made it so my other spells do damage, so I am happy I can spam my really fancy spells. @unity3d 's filling images made making the HP and MP bars so easy. Anyways, its bed time, sleep well <3

Today is some boring stuff, adding some basic UI elements to start actually showing information. This might mean I have to actually add AI that attacks. Probably gonna add loot labels too, but we'll see how it goes.

@StarDev10 I’m not sure what you’re using to make games, but you could always just code a simple open gl game in a custom framework, it shouldn’t lag your pc at that point

@PixelPluto That’s how I solve my bug 😭😭 last week I had a bug in my inventory system, I did everything I could think of to fix it. Nothing worked. I went to bed, woke up, went to the gym, as I was there the solution just popped in my mind.

@JohanSKruger @BSlickComposer @Evanbear1Twitch As a hopefully future successful game dev, I say that your point of a consistent pay is very valid. Still gotta eat and pay bills while make a game! It’s even hard for streamers and youtubers since those markets are absolutely flooded

@jmccraw1989 @StrelokPrime @FeintAttacks While I agree it’s a lot of work, it’s only 800 Pokémon. I’m sure many of them share skeletons so there’s not that many animations that need to be remade for different Pokémon. That’s if they actually animate the body and not the transform. Also shinies is a reskin.

@KovaKoura @leehuk87 @GemCrypto Games don’t become meaningless without a plot. I find games that allow you to create your own experience to be much more rewarding than just following a plot. There’s a reason minecraft is the most sold game now.
