Americans remember the 2013 shutdown, when Obama decided to lock down national parks and make the shutdown as painful as possible.

He even closed the open-air, 24/7 WWII Memorial — turning away veterans.

I applaud the Trump admin’s efforts to do the opposite and mitigate these negative impacts. But this is not sustainable, and Democrats should end their political games.
