you bought a token thinking it worked one way, only to find out its smart contract allows something completely different.

this is why smart contract verification matters.

it lets people check whether a contract’s published source code matches the code deployed on-chain, making it easier to inspect what’s running behind a token.

and with @Openhelixx, source verification is built into its token creation experience for EVM tokens, so the code can be published on the relevant block explorer for anyone to inspect.

of course, verified code doesn’t automatically mean a token is safe. but giving people more transparency is a good place to start.

a normie sees them turn a few spins into thousands of dollars and thinks they can do the same

they deposit their hard-earned money, try their luck and end up losing money they probably couldn’t afford to lose

meanwhile, the streamer moves on to the next sponsored stream - peak marketing

please understand that what you see on a stream isn’t the full picture

a big win doesn’t tell you how much was lost before it, what the sponsorship covers, or how likely you are to get the same result

don’t let someone else’s highlight reel become the reason you lose your money
