@JanetEmson where it sounds like others experience a sort of voice for their thinking, i just have... thought?

i very much feel i have a 'voice,' especially as a creative/academic. but to have all of 'thought' be slowed down to a pseudo-tangible voice one has to hear? sounds excruciating!

having a literal internal monologue sounds exhausting, even boring to me.

i can & often do 'hear' thoughts, particularly around writing, or preparing a talk, sometimes reading.

but to me that's only a small piece of thinking.
