You don't have to accept statements like this.
An example: My wife loves fireflies but we noticed there weren't as many around anymore. So I did a little research, found out how to attract more to our yard, and now a few years later our yard is packed full of them.
You can affect the world for more than you realize
Tbh I find it fascinating that some people aren't really aware of how domestication works? Like the guys asking how sheep survive in the wild without a human to shear them. They don't, we made them that way.
This is a battery caged chicken the day she was let out of her cage - and the same chicken 3 months later.
A chicken isn't supposed to live on a patch of wire smaller than a sheet of printer paper, but that is basically the reality for millions of egg-laying hens.
A hen is an animal built to scratch, dust bathe, perch, stretch her wings, forage, explore, choose a nest, and spend her day doing chicken things.
A cage takes all of that away.
That's why rescued caged hens can look so rough when they first get out. But given bedding, food, safety, room to move, dirt to scratch, and time, they often start looking like chickens again.
If you buy eggs, learn the labels. "Cage-free" is better than a battery cage, but it doesn't mean pasture. "Free-range" can vary a lot. "Pasture-raised" with a real third-party welfare certification is usually the stronger choice.
Or buy from someone local whose hens you can actually see.
On Thursday, Miranda Kerr and her husband Evan Spiegel announced they're partnering with the nonprofit Undue Medical Debt to erase more than $550 million in unpaid medical bills, providing relief to an estimated 261,000 people across California.
Families don't have to apply, fill out paperwork, or prove financial hardship after the fact.
If they qualify, they'll receive a letter letting them know their debt has been forgiven.

When sunlight passes through glass, it artificially distorts the spectrum, creating a foreign spectrum that damages our skin barrier
This will depend on the type of glass, but this alteration remains universal in most options today
1. Blocks 100% of UV-B (essential for Vitamin D3 and cellular repair)
2. Filters out partial UV-A (leaving behind a distorted, unbalanced dose relative to other wavelength changes)
3. Removes 30-60% of IR-A and Red light (which normally repairs UV-A and UV-B induced “damage” and allows for hormesis)
4. Leaves blue 100% untouched
His skin was bombarded with isolated UV-A and blue light together, which created excess oxidative stress without the protective counterbalance of full spectrum sunlight
The result is massive free radical damage and collagen breakdown over time
Chronic UV-A exposure in isolation also creates excess free radicals, depleting melatonin in the skin, which leads to mitochondrial damage
Perfect recipe for accelerated aging on the exposed side of his face
This is completely true and I wish I had not waited so long to have children. It’s a tragedy. My mother will be 80 when my son is 18. Besides that the longer you wait the less time you have with your own children yourself. There is this assumption that you will live to old age.
Having people in your life who pray for you is the closest thing to magic on earth.
Someone is sitting alone in a room and, for reasons that have nothing to do with themselves, building an invisible shield around you.
If you have this, never take it for granted.
My ex-boss once complained that childcare’s now $30K per kid. I pointed out how after taxes, his wife’s entire $80K salary was being spent on someone else raising their kids and how stupid that is.
He SPERGED OUT about girlboss empowerment and we never spoke socially again.
A small public service announcement from the Department of Things That You Should Know…
It has not “peeked” your interest.
Nor has it “peaked” your interest.
…It has piqued your interest.
You are not “phased” by something.
You are fazed by it.
If you’ve had a long day, you are weary.
If you suspect someone is an idiot, you are wary.
It is “due course”, not “do course”.
“Per se”, not “per say”.
And while we’re here, it’s “could have”, not “could of”, but that particular battle may already be lost.
Thank you for your attention during this brief outbreak of grammatical housekeeping.
This has been a @LairdofthManor announcement.🎩💙
Girl dads:
Do not bring little girls into the men's room. We do not want little girls exposed to adult, male genitals.
You are welcome to bring your girl(s) into the women's restroom.
Just give a knock, say you're a girl dad coming in, and you'll be fine.

You don’t see stuff like this during other World Cups. There’s a whole generation discovering America for the first time right now without the news and the BS and they freaking LOVE it.
if you’re a sensitive woman, you better involve yourself in charity work or helping/working with children. pour all your love and nurturing into the poor, the weak, and children. it’s better than feeling motherly toward evil people just because you see the child in them.
