@eric_lin49078 I see what you are trying to say and agree with you. Although my opinion was different, I would have to agree with the fact that regulating the internet would make us hold back on sharing our opinions about certain things.
@el_leyenda27 I definitely agree with you about this. I believe that if we did not have to worry about all the negative things that we can possibly come across when on the internet, surfing would be more pleasant for everyone.
I believe that the FCC should regulate the internet to an extent because there are some things that should be monitored to ensure the safety of everyone. With the freedom of posting anything, there can be things that can have negative impacts on anyone at any age. #1D01Media180
@S_Fatima0 Something you said that stood out was the idea of how the close-up shots intensifies the audience’s connections with the characters. I believe this would allow the audience to feel more intimate and pay attention to more details, allowing us to focus on the important parts.
@el_leyenda27 I agree with you when you say that the message applies today as well. You would think that maybe people would learn from this movie and it would at least open their eyes but unfortunately, we still see these same exact events repeating itself in 2024.
After watching the movie, I felt a mix of all emotions especially rage and sadness. The way the director angled the camera in various ways was interesting but the cinematic tool that evoked my emotions was the color grading because it helped enhance the atomosphere. #1D01Media180
@ammarG_05 I agree that the target audience is younger individuals and to draw their attention more, they added celebrities such as Lebron James and Travis Scott. Once the audience sees these celebrities they like, they feel the need to buy the product more.
@Bora_Bora6636 Even with the recent advertisements for iPhone or any phone, I definitely agree that the targeted audience are young adults. Steve Jobs would point out the important apps that I feel as if young adults would enjoy most such as music and the internet.
The target audience are girls, specifically pre-teens. As you can see in the video, Dove, the product being sold, is showing that girls would photoshop themselves and use makeup. However, this brand is for everyone so the target audience can be pre-teens in general. #1D01Media180
@S_Fatima0 I did not see this perspective before but now that you mention it, I agree with you about that. Although cable can bring people together, traditional networks are scheduled at certain times so it would kind of force everyone to come together.
@ammarG_05 I strongly agree with you, cable allows us to connect with others and make the communities stronger as more people enter it. In addition, I also believe that it can introduce us to different communities and make even more bonds.
I don’t think cable has disrupted our sense of community but it has done the opposite. It allows us to have things to connect with each other such as TV shows. The traditional broadcast TV system did not give us much to connect with each other. #1D01Media180
@high_swingx I agree with you especially when you say that they can get mixed up and I also agree that there are ways that social media can foster the principle of freedom because we have a better chance of our voices being heard on social media than in real life.
@wydhyper I definitely agree with you because people post their own opinions on social media, which can influence others to change their minds even if it’s false information and that can lead to many problems.
I believe social media harms the political system of democracy because anyone can spread misinformation and many believe it without doing any research. In addition, social media is where people usually go to rant and state their own opinions rather than facts. #1D01Media180
