@Watch_LFC I love Wirtz but he absolutely has to start putting in quality performances at some point. And I’m not just talking about a game where he looks competent. I’m talking goal contributions. He is over due on production and he’s running out of time and faith with the supporters

@Dubs_LFC The team as a whole being below standard doesn’t excuse Wirtz for being noticeably poor again. 2 things can be true at the same time. Wirtz gets a lot of criticism due to the fact that he’s clearly got loads of talent, but he just has not produced nearly enough for LFC yet

@AnfieldFootball Yes, 100%. He’s had more than enough time to settle in and the performances have just not been there. He’s looked world class in Germany because of how much time and space he had on the ball. It’s different in the Prem and it has showed why he struggles so much every week

@TaintlessRed This or put on Munoz for Wirtz and move Gakpo centrally behind Isak. He shifts in centrally regardless so just let him play there. Wirtz needs a firm talking to by the manager. This level of performance is beyond unacceptable for a player of his caliber

@Watch_LFC Our play is currently slow and they’re out playing us. We need to step up the tempo big time and start moving the ball with purpose. Get the ball into the feet of Isak and Barcola earlier. I’d sub Wirtz for Munoz and move Gakpo to the 10 if I were the manager. Big 2nd half

@davidlynchlfc This performance has officially made me lose faith in Wirtz. Us fans have tried to justify his worth but I can’t ignore it any more. He’s too slow on and off the ball and his decision making is rather horrendous at times. He’s just simply better suited for the Bundesliga

@TheRedmenTV Poor. Just so poor. The tempo of our play has been so slow and lacking sharpness or imagination. Get Tsimikas and Gravy off the pitch, they’ve been the worst. Wirtz hasn’t been much better either. Come out 2ns half with better energy/movement and feed Isak and Barcola often

@AndoniIraolaEra Tsimikas is far off the mark, but to be fair so has the rest of the team. Too many misplaced passes and not enough movement off the ball. We’ve made Fulham look comfortable at Anfield

@AnfieldEdition Atleti are beating our press superbly with sharp one touch passing and creating supporting angles. We are finding ourselves in decent positions going forward but wasteful on the counter. Get Munoz on for Rio, switch Barcola to the left, and speed up our play and find Isak early

@AnfieldRd96 @muniir_1_LFC He’s right, Rio’s just not there yet. Exciting talent but his little step overs every time he gets the ball doesn’t really beat defenders. Once he adapts his game to be more dynamic and direct he will excel greatly

@ESPNFC Kerkez trying to play him offside while actively being both in front of and behind him is some of the worst defending I’ve seen.

@JamesPearceLFC Kerkez offers almost nothing in both attack and defense. He has no technical ability on the ball, can’t cross or dribble either. And he’s always getting caught out of position. Stark difference between the player we thought we were getting from AFCB last summer.

@SamueILFC Spot on with this. There’s no fluidity in the team, hence why we struggle to create chances at volume. The midfield is the biggest culprit for this as there’s no balance. Everyone is pushed forward and none of them try to play within each other. Really tough to watch
