As your constituent & someone impacted by #ALS, I urge @senatorburr to support new and increased federal investments in #ALSresearch that will lead to more clinical trials to help find effective treatments, prevent new cases and find a cure for ALS. #ALSAdvocacy

As your constituent, I urge @deborahrossnc to cosponsor the #ACTforALS Act. People with #ALS urgently need effective treatments. This bill will increase the number of clinical trials while supporting expanded access to promising new drugs. #ALSAdvocacy

Ending ALS takes all of us working together. Attacks & threats against ALS Association leaders & staff are unacceptable & ultimately cost time and resources better directed to fighting this disease. Read a statement from the Association's Board of Trustees:https://t.co/aH1biqcGUj
So honored to have been a part of this. We have been dreaming of this day for a long time! Huge thank you to Adam, B Wayne, Chuck and all the amazing people in this group who would not give up until they made Lou Gehrig day a reality!

WILLIE MAYS is now a supporter of #LGDay! Inducted into the @baseballhall in 1979, Mays played in 24(!) All-Star games, won 2x MVP, 12x Gold Glove, and has the MVP of the World Series named after him!
Thanks to @bcraw35 for talking to Willie about our cause!
In June 2019, a man named Bryan Wayne Galentine had an idea. He hoped Major League Baseball would create a Lou Gehrig Day on June 2 in which all players would wear No. 4 to honor his legacy and raise awareness for ALS, the disease that took Gehrigβs life and affects so many.
The Players Association extends its deepest condolences to Bryanβs family, friends and members of the ALS community. We greatly admired his courage and commitment to the cause of establishing a Lou Gehrig Day and finding a cure.
Happy to have known you BWayne! I will definitely miss seeing your smile in our Zoom meetings. Thanks for inspiring me with your big dream for LG4 Day, your faith and for pushing people to make omelets!
We are devastated to announce that our co-founder, Bryan Wayne Galentine, has died suddenly of ALS. A big fighter for the ALS cause, he was on many committees at @iamalsorg and he was PASSIONATE about #LG4Day, always driving the group to go faster.
RIP BWAYNE, we got this!
In the 1928 World Series, Lou Gehrig went 6/11 with 6 walks, 4hr, and 9rbi (and an OPS of 2.433!!) in the 4 game sweep. If @mookiebetts keeps this up he's going to eclipse Lou!
On the other hand...Gehrig never won @tacobell tacos for the entire country!
