They could very well go and win this tie 2-1 but, I cannot associate Liverpool with this idea off the ball. I know Slot has said Liverpool ‘do press high’ but they don’t ’PRESS’ high they ‘BLOCK’ high. They don’t intend to turn the ball over. It’s a risk adverse press.

Don’t get me wrong, Liverpool should’ve been 2/3-0 up given how wasteful Gala were on the ball but without unforced errors, they simply have no intent in their press to regain high & cover them into shots.
