@BriannaWu I understand. My husband did this and over the years has found, restored and lovingly worked on cars that were on the posters of his childhood bedroom.
@davetroy Kara Swisher is one of our most important journalists with multiple podcasts and big audience and wide reach. Looking forward to hearing her recaps - she teased this program on Pivot this week.
@MGTalksRetail The two customer bases are typically quite different. It's unlikely that there's a big enough overlap between the Walmart loyalists and Costco members. And if the pricing is competitive, the cash back to spend at Walmart is a compelling offer. Interesting one to watch.
@davetroy I was in a kibbutz in Israel and the Russian emigres had to send news back to the USSR via ham radio. They didn’t know what was happening. Surreal time
@Tennesseine I hosted a half day conference. High stakes. Had to be “on,” engaged and engaging. Snuck away and barely made it to my room. Spent hours shivering in the bath trying to recharge. Event a success. Recovery took days. So hard to explain to non-introverts.
@aarieff@milkkarten I was once flown to Ohio to tour a storage box testing facility. Guy climbs up a riser in an otherwise empty warehouse and, dramatic reveal ....throws box off. Didn't break. Success!
@profgalloway@byron_auguste@OpptyatWork Come to Indiana to see what happens when this is embraced. Decades long reduction in education funding, attainment, economic mobility and job creation. A more nuanced approach is perhaps needed, but you're banging this drum too loudly.
