In my district, teachers can’t log on to their computers or any apps that store student data without receiving a duo authentication code on their personal cell phone. Add this to the list of 199 reasons why this is a terrible idea. Please people - if you are not inside schools and living our reality - don’t offer trite solutions.

Grade 4. Gift for the teacher. Has no connection to any of our curriculum. I most certainly was not doing this on my own when I was this age, and I did end up studying Chemistry and Engineering. This is what Love of Learning looks like. I am so honored to be this kid’s “teacher”.

@nckhui For comparison, it cost my kids less than that to park a vehicle for an entire year at college, 24 hours a day. When yellow bus service is so unreliable due to staffing, wcpss should not be charging kids to park at school. My opinion.

@EAwaah This year I tried something I saw on SM and - true story - I haven’t had a single no-name paper since. It’s magical! I bought these highlighters and gave the kids a color-key for self assessment. Highlight name to show understanding. This is one of my best implementations ever.
