@zacobson Go get a cb at 52 and move back up to take Mccoy. At worst you have one guy to compete this year at best you completely reconstruct you cb room with a blue chip player
@EstaRyan12@KurtBenkert I definitely understand seeing it that way. But there’s no reason they couldn’t have had JLove and a Super Bowl. They shit the bed in the biggest moments in 21 and 22. Those teams blew it and blaming it on the JL pick is a cop out imo
@ChiTownTez@Pete14517405@DustyEvely If Caleb is even anywhere near competent next year there’s 0 percent chance he puts a helmet on in 2027 until he gets a new deal
@AaronNagler I get your point and I mostly agree. But I’d rather have to play Bo playing meaningful reps at wr than having 0 good cbs supplemented by a mediocre pass rush. If it can get you a quality starter it might be worth the risk
@GBP4EVER@Peter_Bukowski Probably won’t happen but I think it makes a lot of sense for both teams. Wicks with the rest of that young core could be pretty fun if everyone comes back healthy for them
@GallowayJT_@Peter_Bukowski I think wicks and maybe a 5th or 6th would be interesting. Thibodeaux has a pretty extensive injury history so I think they lose leverage there. But a core of wicks, nabers, skattebo and dart would have to be a pretty enticing offer I would think
@DustyEvely 1 player you’re hoping the packers can land in free agency?
Bonus question: what’s the mountain lake in the background of your profile picture?
@ByRyanWood Wicks for Thibodeaux? Both players on the last year of their deals and probably gone next year. Both have shown promise but have some concerns. Both teams would be trading positional strengths for weaknesses. Then sign A’Shawn and draft heavy Cb and IOL
@TheCheeseKing__ I’m not super familiar with woolen so I could be wrong but I just don’t think he’s good. Throwing a bag at a guy to change your cb room from really bad to a little less bad just doesn’t make sense. And then add the character issues onto that
@BookOfEli_NFL Is everyone talking about the wrong Giants player? Kayvon T seems a little more realistic than DL. Wicks for Kayvon would be interesting. Both teams swapping strength for weakness. Both on final years and have shown potential but injury prone and probably not getting extended
@JJLahey I loved Enagbare as a rotational piece because he gave them a high floor. But if all you have is a bunch of nice rotational guys then you have nothing. If guys cant win consistently while Micas taking on triple teams then you need to find new guys.
@ByRyanWood I like Wooden a lot as a rotational piece. But the packers problem up front is that they only have a bunch of rotational guys. They need major turnover at that position. This feels like a start
@RossUglem I think it’s disingenuous to say it wasn’t broken, they’ve downtrended for years. They had half a good year in 23 and were absolutely a terrible unit last year. If it wasn’t for a borderline Herculean effort from Jacobs last year we’d have been a lot more concerned with it
