Dear Parents,
How great you think your kid is doesn't matter. How good you were back in the day doesn't matter. How bad you want it for them doesn't matter. What matters is: Do they love the game? Do they love to compete? Do they love getting better?
Sincerely,
It's About Them
The Varsity girls 4x400 run a season best 4:20 which was good for 2nd. The boys followed up running 3:42 edging out Buhach for 3rd behind a superhero effort of Malachi Cox splitting 48high on the Anchor leg.
Cristian Lucatero and Anthony Aguilar go 1-2 in the F/S Boys 3200. Both boys broke the 12min barrier for the first time running 11:55&11:56 respectively
Super excited for both of these ladies to move onto the next level. Both are incredible people, students and athletes in that order. It has been a joy to watch them grow and develop over the last 3 years and I can’t wait to see how far they can get using their immense talents!!
Every athlete in college was the best athlete on their high school team. It doesn’t matter if it’s D1, D2, D3, NAIA or JUCO....When you get to college be ready to COMPETE everyday for playing time and be versatile enough to adapt to different roles.
Great meet to end the season!!Varsity Girls ran great with Maya finishing 2nd and Karina and Jeni close behind at 4th and 5th. Sadly Merced was too good and the girls finish 3rd overall in the CCC. Varsity boys also ran well to finish 3rd overall in CCC as well.
