Che Guevara was right. African petty bourgeoisies are the biggest allies of American imperialism. The Soviet Union never figured this out. They saw Africa through the lens of ideology, not resources. They underestimated the comprador class. They did not understand that the
A Nigerian winger goes to Belgium on trial. He is faster and stronger than every local player.
But after two weeks, the club says no. The feedback: “He struggles with positional discipline. He does not respond to tactical corrections.”
The winger is not unintelligent. He was never trained to adapt.
In Nigeria, he played on mud pitches where tactics were a luxury. In Belgium, he is expected to learn a new system in days.
He has no framework for that kind of rapid cognitive adaptation. This is the hidden tax on African football.
Our players are not less smart. They are less trained in the specific skill of tactical learning. And until we start teaching that skill at home, we will keep exporting athletes who fail at the first intellectual hurdle.

Maybe this is my Arsenal tinted glasses, I see the latest update on Vini to read more of a Madrid PR item.
They aren't saying that they are meeting his ask or even how much they improved it.
"We offered him what we think he is worth and HE decided to leave" makes him bad guy.
People hate when you not sheisty bc being around you makes them realize they move weird asf in most interactions they have. Everything is a 48 laws of power ass tactic to them.
I think a lot of woman on here acting outraged at this quote are not honest with themselves about how women “love” men, maybe it’s because I grew up in florida with a lot of women and girls who were very misogynistic but I rarely saw women love a man for who he was past the persona he performed or the resources he could provide. I think we live in a society that is very bad at love and women think they are good at it because they take on a majority of the care roles but care isn’t love. I don’t know, it’s hard to put into a tweet but all the feminists angrily saying “women have been doing this for years and all we get is abused and mistreated” are just missing the point entirely. Many women are their sons first bully (and daughters). women uphold the patriarchy and are warped by it and that is still true even when we are the victims of it. I still know so many women who openly admit they hate when men cry or act “feminine”. It doesn’t help anyone to act like women are perfect, how could any of us be perfect raised in this abusive culture?
