We call for the release of activists #Saif Abu Keshek and #Thiago Avila who's arbitrary detention has been extended by an Israeli court after the unlawful interception of the #GlobalSumudFlotilla vessels in international waters last week.

The two activists were participating in a peaceful solidarity mission aiming to break Israel's unlawful blockade of the #Gaza Strip and deliver aid to Palestinians struggling to survive under Israel’s genocide and unlawful occupation.

They are at great risk of human rights abuses, including torture and other ill-treatment given @amnesty's previous documentation of the abuse inflicted on flotilla activists detained in October 2025 at the hands of the Israeli authorities

It is especially concerning that Saif Abu Keshek, a Palestinian-Spanish-Swedish national, is being detained on suspicion of affiliation with a terrorist organization given Israel's discriminatory laws and persistent record of harassment and oppression of Palestinians under Israel’s system of apartheid. Israel must immediately release them and ensure they are protected while in custody.

Israel’s defiance of international law must end. The ICJ has been clear: Israel’s #occupation is unlawful and must be brought to an end. States must act now to restore some faith in international law by holding Israel accountable for its violations and crimes.

Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People if Allah Loves Us?
Life is a Test, Not a Reward System
This world isn’t Jannah. It’s a testing ground. Allah says:

“Do people think they will be left to say, ‘We believe,’ and will not be tested?” (Qur’an 29:2).
Hardships reveal true faith and sincerity.
No believer gets a free pass
every Prophet was tested.
Every difficulty has an expiry date.
The darkest nights produce the brightest stars. Hold on: the relief is coming.
Dunya is Temporary,
Akhirah is Eternal
If this life were meant to be perfect,
there would be no need for Jannah.

Hardships remind us not to get too attached.
Even when life feels unfair,
trust that Allah is the Best of Planners (Qur’an 8:30).
What looks like a setback is often a setup for something greater.
Allah Wants You to Turn to Him
“When My servant comes to Me walking, I go to him running.” (Hadith Qudsi)

Hardships soften hearts.
When do we make the deepest duas?
In sujood during pain.
Every trial is a call to reconnect.
Your Reward is Beyond Imagination
The Prophet pbuh said:
“A person who suffered the most on earth will be dipped once in Jannah and asked, ‘Did you ever experience hardship?’ He will say, ‘No, by Allah, I never did.’” (Muslim)
One second in Jannah will erase a lifetime of pain.

Never Let Hardships Break Your Faith
Shaytan whispers, “Why me?”
But the believer says, “Alhamdulillah,
Allah knows best.”
Your struggles are proof that Allah sees greatness in you.
Keep going.
This life is a test.
The hardship is part of the plan.
And the reward?
Beyond what you can imagine.

Hardships Are a Sign of Allah’s Love
The Prophet pbuh said,
“When Allah loves a servant, He tests him.” (Tirmidhi)
Diamonds are formed under pressure.
The greater the trial, the greater the reward
if you remain patient and trust in Allah.
Pain Purifies & Elevates
Suffering wipes away sins like fire purifies gold.
