At 11:47 PM, Marcus received a text from an unknown number:
“Your dad is sitting outside the hospital. Go check on him.”
Marcus hadn’t spoken to his father in three years. They argued over money, pride, and a decision neither wanted to apologize for.
He drove to the hospital and found his dad sitting alone on a bench, holding an old photograph of them together.
“Why didn’t you call me?” Marcus asked….👇
I booked a ride home at midnight after a long shift.
The driver didn't ask my name when I got in.
Driver: “Evening, Daniel. Same address as last night?”
I frowned.
Me: “I think you have the wrong person. I haven’t used this app in months.”
He glanced at me in the mirror.
Driver: “You sat right there last night. You told me to take the long road home.”
Me: “That’s impossible. I was at work until 11.”
Driver: “No, sir. You were in my car at 12:10."
I took out my phone to check my ride history.
There was nothing there.
Then the driver added quietly:
Driver: “You also told me not to let you out tonight, no matter what you said.”
STORMBREAKER VS GORR’S NECROSWORD: WHICH IS MORE POWERFUL?
Stormbreaker was forged to kill Thanos, while the Necrosword gave Gorr the power to slaughter gods.
Both are among the deadliest weapons in the MCU.
But if these two legendary weapons collided at full force, which one would shatter first?

My best friend asked me to sleep with his wife, and I haven't slept since.
We've been friends for fifteen years. He was my best man, and I was his. He and his wife have been married for ten of those years, and I've watched them go from newlyweds in a tiny apartment to a couple with a mortgage and a spare bedroom they painted yellow, just in case. They never said it out loud, but everyone knew what the yellow room was for.
His wife has always felt like family to me. She remembers my birthday, texts me recipes, and once sat with me in a waiting room for six hours when my mother had surgery. I've never thought of her as anything but a sister.
Two weeks ago, he called and asked me to meet him for a beer. He didn't touch his. He turned the bottle in his hands for ten minutes before he said anything.
Him: "We finally got the results back."
Me: "And?"
Him: "It's me. It's always been me."
Me: "I'm so sorry, man."
Him: "We've talked about donors. Clinics, anonymous ones. She hates the idea. She doesn't want a stranger." He looked up. "She wants someone we trust. Someone who feels like family."
I felt my stomach drop before he finished.
She came over because she “needed help moving a box.”
The box took two minutes. After that she didn’t leave. We ended up on the couch, her legs across my lap while she scrolled on her phone like it was normal. Every time she shifted, her thigh pressed against me. I rested my hand on her leg. She didn’t move it.
After a while she put the phone down and looked at me.
“You’re not helping with the box anymore,” she said, voice lower.
“You stopped needing help.”
She smiled, then swung one leg over and settled on my lap, facing me. Her hands rested on my shoulders. She stayed there, close enough that I could feel her breathing.
“I’ve been thinking about this for a while,” she said quietly. “If I kiss you, are you going to make it complicated?”
I shook my head.
She leaned in slow, lips brushing mine first, testing. When I kissed her back she made a small sound and pressed closer, fingers sliding into my hair. The kiss got deeper. Her hips shifted against me. She pulled back just enough to look at me, breathing uneven.
“Good,” she whispered. “Because I don’t feel like leaving yet.”
Every legendary movie starts with a first scene.
Every successful journey starts with a first step.
Every great story begins somewhere.
Don’t be ashamed of your small beginning.
The world may not notice you today.
But keep learning, keep building, and keep showing up.
One day, your beginning will become the part of your story that inspires somebody else.
i went on a date with a guy who invited me to dinner at a fancy sushi restaurant. i wasn't expecting anything expensive, but he chose the place and insisted i order whatever i wanted. the conversation was great, and i genuinely thought we'd see each other again. then the check arrived. i reached for my phone and said, "we can split it, right?" he looked almost offended and replied, "no, i invited you. why would i make you pay?"
