True Story. Transfer rumours & news only exist because Rupert Murdoch's newspapers were struggling to get match reports back in time for their early editions. So they straight up just invented transfer news to fill the gaps.
Liverpool pulled out all the stops to beat Europe's top clubs to the signing of Ajax sensation Ki-Jana Hoever.
Here's @JamesPearceEcho with the inside story on his signing and remarkable rise.

Tottenham has issued indefinite bans to three Season Ticket Holders who have listed their Champions League Final tickets for sale on a secondary ticketing platform.
If Trent Alexander-Arnold starts the Champions League final, he will be the first ever player under 21 to start consecutive finals in the competition.
Wow 👏👏👏
The idea that throwing a milkshake is violence, but inciting hate against minority groups isn't, is responsible for a decent-sized chunk of all the world's political problems, I think.
The world has been kind to adult me. But I remember walking through Rochester and Chatham as a boy, anxious that some skinhead gang wouldn’t cross my path with clenched fists, racist slogans and bovver boots. Let’s keep that scum in the past. Farage is the tip of a huge shitberg.
On point:
"On one level it’s obvious why media outlets might cover Manchester United and Liverpool more than City: these clubs have much larger fanbases and far more people are interested in what they’re doing." 😂😂

Manchester City have had £1.3billion injected into the club by Sheikh Mansour of Abu Dhabi since 2008. #mufc have had more than £1billion withdrawn from the club since 2005, when the Glazers took over #mulive [@david_conn]
@Live_for_Films The Outsiders: I hoped for much, having never heard of this film despite the stellar cast, but was left more than a little disappointed. Left it where ‘Ponyboy’ n Johnny reach the church. Should I go back to it n watch the rest? Or is it just a poor man’s Stand By Me?
How many transfers did you make in the 2018/19 season and what was your overall rank at the end of the year?
Interested for research purposes, all RT's appreciated!
@BrackenTb It looks very much like the number of transfers is irrelevant, purely the quality n timing maybe?
From past personal experience, going gung-ho n having no patience in ur transfer usually leads to a very poor rank. But most on here will be sensible enough to realise that already.
