Introducing Collateral Coins

It’s been 8 months since we launched @CollaterizeHQ on @Solana. In that time we’ve onboarded thousands of users, generated millions in trading volume, and seen a wave of proposals for assets to be tokenized and made liquid.

From all the feedback, a few things stand out:
• Collaterize is on track to become the simplest way to launch RWAs onto global liquidity rails.
• The community wants decentralized, permissionless listings.
• Incentives need to be stronger, for holders and for those who bring the best assets forward.

The next leap is clear: Collaterize needs a new engine of participation, enabling anyone to mint on Internet Capital Markets.

⏭️ That’s where Collateral Coins come in.

Collateral Coins are a new primitive for tokenization. For the first time, anyone can:

• Turn illiquid assets into global, permissionless, tradable assets
• Raise funds to collateralize them
• Earn 1% trading fees on the volume they generate
• Issuers can add utility perks to their tokens (eg. time-sharing, buybacks)

In addition, every RWA that reaches its funding goal will have a @MeteoraAG Mirror Liquidity Pool, equal to its collateral value, giving a stronger protection and making RWAs more resilient than ever.

Think @Uber for assets: you’re not driving a cab, you’re spotting opportunities, curating them, and plugging them into global liquidity.
