I have a new theory that when the brain is developing through 0-26 yr that your external environment defines your cognition the same way they train LLMs on millions of parameters and training material. After your brain is fully formed your model weights are set and that’s how you respond to your environment and make decisions. That’s why the earliest childhood experiences can have such crazy down steam implications on your life.
The more AI advances, the more we will learn about the brain 🧠
@jamesbeshara Hi James, I'm Liam, founder of Juno, an AI journaling app. Your focus on health and connection through technology, and building Magic Mind, plus your Mindset Health cheque, all point at the same thing I'm working on.
Juno is a journal that quietly surfaces the patterns someone can't see in their own reflections. I quit engineering at Bugatti eighteen months ago and have funded this from savings since.
Would love to share it with you!

@naval Hi Naval, the Almanack has been a genuinely calming read for a solo founder, especially the parts on leverage and happiness. I'm Liam, building Juno, a mental-wellness journaling app, alone from Australia. I quit engineering at Bugatti a year and a half ago and funded it from my savings. I'd be grateful for one piece of advice on using code and media leverage to build calmly rather than frantically.

Hi @McConaughey , this is a strange one to post, but it's true: you are the reason I started journaling. I read Greenlights, heard you talk about keeping those diaries for thirty-odd years and catching your own greenlights in the writing, and I started my own that week. I haven't really stopped since.
I'm Liam. I used to be an engineer at Bugatti. About eighteen months ago I quit, put my savings on the line, and started building Juno, an AI journal that gently notices what keeps coming back for you, so more people might get a little of what those decades of diaries gave you. It's live on the App Store now, and it's just me building it.
I'd be honored by any advice you would share, even a sentence, on what journaling really gave you and what you'd tell someone trying to hand a bit of that to other people. Thank you for the nudge that quietly started all of this.
