"There's really no such thing as the 'voiceless'. There are only the deliberately silenced, or the preferably unheard" (A. Roy)
And when those who have been deliberately silenced speak, they are a powerhouse.
“Tel Aviv” started out as a suburb of the larger Palestinian port city of Jaffa, a port city that was sieged by armed Zionist forces in 1948 and depopulated of its Palestinian population in a premeditated ethnic cleansing campaign.
The problem is not boosting aid, it’s the fact that Israel is preventing aid into Gaza and starving people as a weapon of war. Biden has the power to stop Israel, instead he quietly sends more weapons. It’s a choice and this is a publicity stunt.
These numbers are devastating. This is not war, it’s textbook genocide and ethnic cleansing. And every hateful piece of shit denying it is complicit in it.
Judith Butler describing the October 7 massacre as armed resistance: “We can have different views about Hamas as a political party, we can have different views about armed resistance. But [...] the uprising of October 7th was an act of armed resistance.[...] This was an uprising”
A man from New Jersey has been identified as a sniper for the IDF.
IDF snipers are notorious for shooting Palestinians as a game, with countless videos of them shooting & killing people for no reason — most notably the assassination of journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
Israel: Give us our hostages and we will keep many of your hostages and then, after a few weeks, we’ll start killing your people again with US bombs.
Hamas: No, we want lasting peace and our basic human rights.
Israel: No.
Media: Hamas rejects yet another ceasefire deal!
Terrified of what, airstrikes? Snipers? Abduction? Carpet bombing? Torture? Hellfire missiles? White phosphorous attacks?
This is embarrassing. Stop centering Jewish feelings during a Palestinian genocide.
Friendly reminder that the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act is a police spending bill!
Incredibly gross to put the name of a man killed by cops on a bill that gives the cops more money!
Aaron Bushnell did not commit suicide. Suicide is something one does when they don't want to be alive anymore. Bushnell would've been happy to go on living, but he saw Gaza as more important than his own life. His death was exactly what he said it was: an extreme act of protest.
