@cgehan1 throughout Hamlet questions what makes people morally above or different from animals, this adds to his point #Hamlit

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@EmmaIBritez he feels used by Claudius and resents him for that i won't say he forgives H. #hamlit

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@arabellaberman1 both, it doesn't help that H. was the one who killed her father, 2 people she relied on have died or are crazy act4 #hamlit

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@katemorandi99 Act3 while Polonius was manipulative and blindly helping the king for his own gain, Hamlet's not a hero for P's death #hamlit

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@lindsuber shows that Hamlet only appears crazy to the other characters who dont understand what he's saying or why he's upset #hamlit

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

Act4 H. sounds crazy calling others "sponges" but it's a strange metaphor for saying they blindly follow the king who uses them #hamlit

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@lindsuber @barbara_mell0 act3 He's also acts crazy bc he's upset by his father's murder and conflicted in how to avenge him #hamlit

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@EmmaIBritez @cploveslit I agree the cat symbolizes Zeena but then what does the cat breaking the dish represent?

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@cploveslit Ethan feels like he was always the one supporting his family, he is infatuated with Mattie bc she was the first to support him

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@barbara_mell0 Ethan is disintrested by Zeena and barely talks or thinks about her, when he does its always negative #falzfrome

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@lindsuber Compared to Ethan's dull life red represents hope, he watches the red sunsets and thinks about starting a new life #falzfrome

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@cgehan1 @jose_velazquez Mattie is described with warmth and light which contrasts the cold darkness of Starkfield #falzfrome

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@jose_velazquez the name of the town, Starkfield, even suggests what a horrible place it was and a harsh winter fit the setting #falzfrome

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@katemorandi99 after his mother's death Ethan was almost forced to marry Zeena to kinda thank her for taking care of his mom

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@barbara_mell0 fences metaphorically represents her being restricted by their marriage, she rarely leaves the house #falzfences

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@barbara_mell0 @Drm2999 Also discrimination within sports, troy says that Cory has to be twice as good to play professionally#falzfences

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@Frederick12321 I think Troy was harsh but was speaking the truth. He may not like Cory but he felt responsible for him#falzfences

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@barbara_mell0 @jose_velazquez Troy would feel guilty for holding him back and preventing Cory from doing what he wants #falzfences

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@dballbhs @ConnerCReed Troy's past experiences with baseball clouded his judgment and made him close minded #falzfences

[Libby Carter @LibbyCarter19]

@barbara_mell0 @ConnerCReed She recognized it's not the baby's fault and as a strong women she took care of the baby despite Troy
