The Friday of finals week is usually my first chance to start Christmas preparations. Today my momma and I are making wreaths and tablescapes from greenery in her yard. It’s one of my favorite things to do each Christmas.
I’m heartbroken. After spending 30 mins in shock, I’ve spent the last 30 mins in tears. The world needs more Tim Wakefield, not less. His work off the field is as impressive as his work on the field, and in both he brought selflessness and dedication. Go with God, Wakey. #49
Our hearts are broken with the loss of Tim Wakefield.
Wake embodied true goodness; a devoted husband, father, and teammate, beloved broadcaster, and the ultimate community leader. He gave so much to the game and all of Red Sox Nation.
Our deepest love and thoughts are with Stacy, Trevor, Brianna, and the Wakefield family.
@blakeells@RickMuscles I bought that one Thursday night. He was the speaker at our pre-fest party, so I got that for him to sign since I had already finished How to Save a Marriage on audible. I’m excited to read it.
The #NataliaGrace story is a ride. 1. ALL these people are awful! 2. The son..💔. That poor kid! 3. What about the parents who just tried to give her away under the table to little people?! 4. Neither Michael’s tears nor claims to be straight are believable. 5. Go watch!!
For the record, I will not be watching the finals because if I hear the words “Undrafted players” again I will chuck something heavy at my tv, and I really can’t spare the expense.
I’m gonna have to tap out on sports for a bit. This year’s Celtics were probably my favorite team of any sport since 2008. I knew at the half that tonight was the end, but it doesn’t hurt less. My green heart is a little broken.
