Wahooo! I've submitted the manuscript of my new book on 20th century #seasidearchitecture! Out this time next year, published by @BatsfordBooks with lots of lovely postcards for illustrations.
Traffic tailing back along Beeching Way (aka Beeching Cut). How many of the drivers actually want to be in EG? Not many I guess. It's time to address the through-traffic volume issue, as well as improving the road layout and infrastructure to accommodate the increased population.
Just seen the final proofs for my book on the Society of St Margaret and their #EastGrinstead convent. It was meant to be published in July but, hey ho, we're getting there and it looks good! Lots of lovely images of the buildings by G E Street, the nuns and their charges
So very special for this Oxford-born person to visit the gorgeous @blackwelloxford and its hidden room (the Gaffer's Office) to sign copies of #MadePossible @unbounders
And in such sparkling company on the shelves.
