From today, BEAR Scotland will be doing roadwork on the A9 from just north of Slochd to Findhorn Bridge, near Inverness. A northbound lane will be closed throughout, with a southbound lane closed overnight.

Raised concerns about how this algorithm would work in practice, and asked for how it would actually change provision in invidual schools. Didn't get any figures, not even at a locality rather than school level.

Sad, but not surprised, parents are finding issues with it.

The council was asked 8 questions which it mostly ignored. It refused to confirm if the new "algorithm" for ASN allocations is still based on national guidance as councillors were told and if it was aware of problems because of it:
