@kb5wmw I completely agree! If someone just gives me a handout with a tech tool idea, I probably won't do anything with it, whereas if I play and brainstorm, I am more likely to put it to good use.

@kb5wmw Technology has been essential in helping our kiddos who need things read to them. It is extremely difficult to administer a test and meet everyone's needs without the use of technology.

A5 AR/VR are going to great tools in the very near future. I think there are still some things to figure out, but it is going to be a tool that can offer students experiences that we couldn't normally offer or even dream of. #tigertechsquad

A4 Students get excited when they get to try something new. I have been using QR codes in the library to engage reluctant readers with book trailers, and it seems to get them excited about their next book choice. #tigertechsquad

A3 It is always more meaningful when teachers get to try the tech tools out for themselves. Sometimes it is hard to see how something can be put to good use unless you try it yourself.#tigertechsquad

A2 Tech should be a tool to further engage learners and present new ways of learning. However, it should not be used just for the sake of using it. When using tech it is always beneficial to evaluate its value at the end of the lesson. #tigertechsquad

A1: I am trying to learn everything I can about technology and how to incorporate it, since it has never been my strongest attribute. I am also using DBs on Schoology to pose questions and stretch my students thinking about the library. #tigertechsquad

@smarcale I like the idea of posting the goals on the board. It is easy to forget to share, but they are posted then it acts as a visual reminder to go back to what your goals are and discuss them with the class.

@smarcale I think it is so easy to go with what we have always done and stay in our comfort zones. I have to remind myself sometimes that I am not done learning as well. Pinterest helps to keep me on my toes. :)
