(This is the part where I state that I’m referring to what the term seems to have meant when first being used during the Bronze Age Collapse and that the Palestinian self-identity is a perfectly valid one these days)
To borrow a phrase from Israeli influencer Adiel Cohen, and to acknowledge its glibness, a “Palestinian from Palestine” is essentially saying “an Invader from the land of Invasion”
Fun fact: there is no archaeological record of philistines called themselves philistines (or any similar variation for that matter).
All we have is other nations called them that 😂
As I've mentioned before, Haredi Jews get both tokenized as the good, non-Zionist true Torah Jews AND used as the archetypal Zionist Jew for evil purposes.
Anne Frank hid in an attic in Amsterdam in a non - Jewish house owners who hid her and her family risking their life doing so
When they eventually got told by the neighbors and all of them got executed
Comparing this story to Gaza is an insult to history
When Bowman uses the term "Epstein class" to insult Shapiro, a Dem who's the son of a pediatrician and a teacher and who's never been in finance or business, he means Jew.
I'd honestly have more respect for you if you were honest with what you wanted to say and just said k*ke.
According to Nora “i’M mArRieD tO a jEw” Loreto
I love how *all 76* ~which includes doctors, philanthropists & union leaders~ “are quite literally responsible for the decaying social conditions that cause & exacerbate hatred”
Because they signed a letter denouncing antisemitism
Sending my condolences to France and the UK. You repeatedly condemned the IDF operations in southern Lebanon, only to find out tonight that Lebanon actually supports it to dismantle Hezbollah.
May you be spared further sorrow.
.@AnaKasparian has gone so insane she wants hezbollah to stay occupying Lebanon and at the same time always claims Israel is occupying Balestine. Yet again, they expose their ignorance. If Ana knew anything, she would know what the Lebanese people want and that President Aoun disgraceful. Someone tell Ana to speak to the Lebanese people so she can understand the situation.
No, you ignorant evil demon.
Hezbollah is considered terrorists by most of the world. They are designated a terrorist group by dozens of countries, including our own.
The people you’re spitting on by supporting these terrorists include the families of thousands of Americans they have killed, thousands of Lebanese they have massacred/displaced, and the tens of thousands of Syrians they massacred and terrorized.
Here is a partial list of Hezbollah’s terrorism, which you support:
April 18, 1983: U.S. Embassy bombing in Beirut — Suicide truck bomb Killed 63 people (17 Americans, including CIA personnel). One of the first major suicide bombings against a U.S. target.
• October 23, 1983: Beirut barracks bombings — Simultaneous suicide truck bombings of the U.S. Marine barracks (241 U.S. personnel killed) and French paratrooper barracks (58 French killed). Deadliest single-day attack on U.S. forces since World War II at the time
• September 20, 1984: U.S. Embassy annex bombing in Beirut — Truck bomb. Killed 24 people.
• June 14–July 1, 1985: TWA Flight 847 hijacking — Hijacked en route from Athens to Rome; forced to Beirut. U.S. Navy diver Robert Stethem was murdered. Lasted 17 days with hostages. Carried out by Hezbollah members.
Hezbollah was also heavily involved in the 1980s Lebanon hostage crisis (kidnappings of Westerners).
1990s: International Attacks
• March 17, 1992: Israeli Embassy bombing in Buenos Aires, Argentina — Car bomb. Killed 29 people, injured over 240.
• July 18, 1994: AMIA Jewish Community Center bombing in Buenos Aires, Argentina — Truck bomb at a Jewish cultural center. Killed 85 people, injured ~300.
• June 25, 1996: Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia — Truck bomb near U.S. military housing. Killed 19 U.S. airmen, injured hundreds. U.S. investigations linked it to Saudi Hezbollah (Iran/Hezbollah-backed).
2000s–2010s
• February 14, 2005: Assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri — Massive car bomb in Beirut. Killed Hariri and 21 others, injured 220+. The UN Special Tribunal for Lebanon convicted Hezbollah members
• July 18, 2012: Burgas bus bombing in Bulgaria — Bomb on a bus carrying Israeli tourists. Killed 6 (5 Israelis + 1 Bulgarian driver), injured 32. Bulgarian authorities, EU, and others attributed it to Hezbollah’s military wing.
This does not include their countless attacks on Israel and rockets launched, or their efforts to wipe out entire villages, rape countless women, and murder thousands of innocents on behalf of Assad in Syria.
You’re a sick person and a sane and healthy society would expel you and deport you to Tehran to live with your terrorist bigot friends.
When this person says they “kicked (Scott Wiener) out”, are they a participant or an organizer in the March? Both have bad but slightly different implications
Scott Wiener showed up to the trans march and for the first time we kicked his ass out. It's sad because while he's written some good legislation for queers, hes ultimately a genocidal-supporting center right shill. Trigger warning: broken man walking away defeated. Vote Connie!
pretending like Senator Scott Wiener, who consistently has one of the most left wing voting records in one of the most left wing state legislatures in America, is somehow "center right" says quite a bit about how utterly disconnected from reality you are
This was the “protest” in New York on October 8th. At the 2:15 mark one of the organizers steps up and openly states that this is a celebration of “the glorious victory of the resistance.”
Less than three years later we’re now being told this was to protest Israel’s response.
@Alonso_GD I should have clarified, I didn’t mean that doing that was against the rules of Twitter or whatever, I meant that doing that made you look like a hypocritical buffoon, but you do you, it wouldn’t be the first time
I don’t think you can pull the “I don’t care what you think, stop bugging me” thing when the post you’re responding to is a response to a response *you* made
@Mish_K_ I don’t know how else to say this to you so I’ll be blunt. I don’t care what you think. When your brain goes “I’ll engage with Alonso” what I want you to do is understand I don’t care about engaging with you. You can go away now. Bug someone else find a new hobby
Person A: makes a post about Israel no longer attacking countries it has made peace deals with
Alonso: what about the Oslo Accords?
Person B: that doesn’t really apply
Alonso: ew why are you responding to me, F off
It’s almost as if, according to Alonso, Hamas didn’t start suicide bombings immediately after Oslo to try to sabotage the implementation of the Accords.
I have NEVER interacted with this person yet I am blocked. The only reason I can think of is that I recently shared a Nova survivor’s testimony of hearing sexual violence on October 7. Shocking.
