Through a lesson we have been doing in the @CarverMSCougars library, students have shared stories they love on these paper hearts. The coolest part was watching the kids get so excited about remembering their fav. books. #spslib
I did an interest inventory with 3 @CarverMSCougars 6th grade reading classes. It took a week to pull books for each class, but today the kids get their stack of books. Most stu. are checking out 2 and 3 books! I'm loving how excited they are to see what I chose for them. #spslib

The past 2 days have been dedicated to lessons about literacy and why it is important. These were the 1st and last questions I asked the Stu. Almost none knew the answers when we began. I'm pleased with their exit tickets. #spslib

At O'Hare after 9+ hour drive. Bought tickets through @AerLingus with a flight out on @JetBlue. Error with my childs boarding pass and both airlines in person and via phone says it's the other co. fault. Stranded with no help or flights. Which company is going to step up? #stepup
