@HSTeachProbs It was my second year of teaching:
“Maybe you’re not cut out to be a teacher.” I had my principal’s children and held them to the same standard of behavior as the rest of the class. 🤦🏼♀️ Nepotism does not work with me.
This is beyond exciting! I’ve been reading #outofmymind to each fourth grade class in library for the last six years. I cannot wait to read Out of My Heart! @sharonmdraper , you are such an amazing author!
@howie_hua “Maybe you’re not meant to be a teacher.” This was told to me my second year of teaching by my principal when I had her children in my class. It was a very rough year. Once I left that district and had support from new admin, things got so much better!
@MissD_EYFS Yes. I got my Master of Education with a concentration in Library and Information Technology while teaching and while I had a newborn. He was 2 1/2 when I graduated. It’s hard work but totally worth it.
