Al Pacino was genuinely sleep-deprived in Insomnia (2002)
Shot near Alaska during a period of constant daylight, Robin Williams said it created a “surreal biological state” for the cast.
Pacino was also flying back and forth to be with his newborn twins.
WATCH: Alberta Premier Danielle Smith asked about those who will oppose a new pipeline to Canada's West coast:
"This is a Canada project, and this is a test of whether Canada works as a country. Because if we can't build with a collaboration of the federal government and between provinces - if it's everybody gets to get their products going to market except Alberta - that's not a country. A country is one where we support each other. And I think Canadians are there, and I hope that we can get more and more politicians to get there, too.”
Prediction: whoever is actually on power will soon give Canada a leader from the West(as happens every few decades), specifically Alberta. In an attempt to water down the separatist movements. Will it work (again) this time?
Canada has committed $20 billion to Ukraine.
They could have purchased or done any of these things instead:
-Erase nearly all student debt
-400 water bombers
-40 new hospitals
-10,000 MRI machines
-80,000 long-term care beds
-4 major city LRT lines
-Clean water for all reserves
-1 million homes with solar panels
-End homelessness for at least 4 years
Imagine the impact any of these would have domestically in our country.
