@The_Ali_Kat Unfortunately it was a thing for my mom's side of the family, so no one has really played since she died in 2015 (and grandpa passed shortly after). My dad and @TheFakeKingHezy know how to play but it wasn't an all the time thing for them like my mom.
@The_Ali_Kat I need to teach our kids euchre. I miss playing. I grew up on it, but we have more than 4 who would want to play. My mom and I used to beat my dad and grandpa all the time.
@The_Ali_Kat We have tomato soup and grilled cheese scheduled (I meal plan by the month). Sounds about right for a day with up to a quarter inch of ice predicted.
@lovesgoodefood What wall sharperner do you use? I found one that can be pressure mounted to a table but it's a bit odd despite Amazon ratings so still looking for something I don't have to plug and unplug daily or doesn't break after a few uses (the $.50 ones don't last here.)
@lovesgoodefood lol. This was the year we barely decorated (hung stocking and had a little 4' tree). Not due to baby either, but a kitty we got last Feb who has a penchant for eating anything green (so the tree was small enough to be gated from said kitty and no other decor was hung).
@BDEvans61 @TheFakeKingHezy but not for their attitudes later. The 4yo wanted to go back to bed as soon as he got inside and was whiny the rest of the day. The 7yo wasn't much better by dinner.
@lovesgoodefood @JoshuaGielow @fbraden8 I lost track of how many people stuck me. They had to get a hand held ultrasound finally after attempting to place it and failing for an hour.
@lovesgoodefood @JoshuaGielow @fbraden8 I was 2/4 for the epidural, now thanks to them overstimulating my uterus so I didn't respond to pit, I'm 3/5, still only needed with inductions. Went preeclampsic mid-induction this time so was glad to be on monitoring at the hospital (though could do without the 9 IV attempts).
@tunadan16 @TheFakeKingHezy @DarylUpdike I liked Wanda and Loki. Have no interest in Winter soldier or Black widow. I don't much like violence, especially realistic style vs sci fi/super powers, though I tolerate it to an extent. Wanda and Loki were more character-development and mess with your mind a bit.
@BrimstoneDeacon@bluedhali I'll give you a hint - don't tell the 38 week pregnant woman who has been suffering from contractions for a month with no progress toward labor added to anxiety from a prior stillbirth that what she's dealing with isn't real. ;-)
@BrimstoneDeacon@bluedhali Uh, sure. Want to come see the bruises? Between an IV at the hospital after a failed NST and blood tests this morning my arms are not happy with me.
Two days ago I saw a large sign at a busy intersection that said:
"If you want to continue to live in a democracy
Vote Democrat"
The next day I drove by and "democracy" had been covered by a computer printed "tyranny."
Any ideas on how to have a Christmas tree with a cat you eats anything green or sparkly? (Both standard types of trees are harmful if eaten.) Also, just letting the cat poison herself is NOT an option.
@bonhoefferchild@WVPitt Unless it's done with intent to kill someone. Then it's murder. Even intent to make someone sick and not to kill would not fall under the definition of murder, unless the person knew there was a likelhood of death due to their actions, this is not the case with the current virus.
@bonhoefferchild@WVPitt Passing on an illness that may or may not be fatal to someone (because even a cold can be fatal to someone who is immunocompromised) is not murder. Legally or Biblically.
