@hailmaggs I think as a woman, I've always known a man can behave from scary to threatening to violent to utter depravity but you think that's an individual, a lone wolf. Lately all the news is about packs of men & that I find really depressing, that not one of them will stop the others.

@modconomics @JessamyRx Behaviour that's 'fun' for the bigger, stronger person. Imagine yourself wanting to leave a room & physically not allowed to, while being laughed at & tell me it's a good feeling. Even in 'teasing', you are being told the other person controls all & you get to suck it up.

@infobellusci @QasimRashid Instead of the good v bad man narrative that's out there, imo it's closer to the truth that "decent, normal" men sometimes display very bad behaviour with women & afterwards go back to "decent, normal" behaviour. Maybe one episode, maybe many.

Because from my life experience the thing I know, as a woman, is that some men who in every other situation in life present as good men can turn awful when they have decided they are getting sex one way or the other.
